How to roll out AI in your team in four steps

Adopting AI is a people question, not a technology one. Four steps to get your team on board confidently, without the rush.

Even the best tool is worthless if the team doesn’t dare or know how to use it. Successful AI adoption is, above all, a people question. Here’s a simple, four-step path.

1. Find where the shoe pinches

Look at which tasks take the most time and where there’s the most repetition. That’s where AI pays off fastest — not where it’s the most spectacular.

2. Start small, with one area

Pick a single team or process (marketing or customer service, say) and roll it out there first. An early win builds confidence in everyone else.

3. Train the team on their own tasks

A generic demo isn’t enough. People truly learn when they practise on their own daily tasks, on live examples — including the AI features of the purpose-built software they already use.

4. Set a few simple rules

What’s allowed and what isn’t, where data may go, when human approval is required. A few clear rules let the team use AI safely and boldly.
